Alba Iulia 2010: Social Development and Territorial Intelligence
This conference is organized by the ministry of education, research and innovation of romania, the "1 decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia, Faculty of Law and Social sciences, department of sociologie and social work.
The conference aims promoting innovative research based on the social knowledge of territories and communities. Through accumulation and generalization processes, the effects of social development can be considerably multiplied; therefore the implementation of the principles of social development can lead to social progress and to the formulation and efficient enforcement of public policies on a territorial scale. Through the papers presented at the Conference we aim at striking a balance between theoretical contributions to social development and territorial intelligence a conceptual, methodological and social intervention level .
