Abstract

This paper focuses on analysing all the geographic and historical aspects that were involved into creating the geographic identity of the Land of the Moţi, a region in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains. The purpose of the study is that of identifying and establishing the future strategies for the sustainable development of this region while underlining first the strengths and the weaknesses of the territorial system.
